Description
The Maltz Fluoro-HD saturator system is a dry bed fluoride saturator for drinking water applications using Sodium Fluoride (NaF) to fluoridate potable water.
The Fluoro-HD saturator system features rugged, chemically-resistant thermoplastic construction. It utilizes a low-maintenance upflow design that introduces the incoming water at the bottom of the saturator. As the water percolates up through the bed of dry Sodium Fluoride, some of the crystals are dissolved, producing a fluoride solution that is 4 to 7% by weight, depending on temperature and other variables. The solution can then be withdrawn through a metering pump and injected at the destination point.
The Maltz Fluoro-HD saturator system is available with tank sizes of 55, 70, or 110-gallons and Sodium Fluoride capacities of 200, 250, or 400 pounds, respectively. All systems have a 2 gpm maximum flow rate. A vacuum breaker and pressure reducing valve are included for safety.
